Male speaker: Today on our 2007 Chevrolet Silverado we are going to be taking a look at the CURT T-Connector vehicle wiring harness for factory tow package. Part #C55384. First thing we are going to need to do is get underneath the backside of our vehicle. Locate the factory tow package connection. It's got a fastener securing it to the backside of the rear cross member. Keep in mind that you'll usually have the spare tire located here so you may need to move it out of the way. Go ahead and take a pair of needle nose pliers and just undo the fastener. more

Fifth Wheel Wiring Harness Installation - 2007 Chevrolet Silverado

Today on our 2007 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD we'll be installing the Bargman Custom Fit Vehicle Wiring, part number 54701-003. Now this is a fifth neck goose wheel 90 degree adapter harness for a 7-pole on a GM. This will allow us to tap into the vehicle's factory 7-pole and remotely locate it into the bed of the truck for our gooseneck. To begin we'll need to locate a good position to mount our 7-pole in the bed of the truck. Now we've chosen the driver side here at the rear behind the rear wheel well. Now we've already gone ahead and removed our spare tire to make it a little more visible for us during this video. We'll now go ahead and drill a 1/4" pilot hole into the side of our bed. more

Today, on our 2007 Chevrolet Silverado, new body style, we'll be installing the Hopkins Endurance, Fifth Wheel and gooseneck, 90 degree wiring harness with 7 pole plug. Part number 41157.We'll begin here underneath the rear of the vehicle as we locate the factory 7 way plug. We'll need to unplug this right here by simply pushing in on the tab on the side. Now we'll take our new Hopkins Endurance Fifth Wheel and gooseneck, 90 degree wiring harness, and you will see that there is 2 plugs on one end. This is where we will be tying in with our factory wiring harness. We'll use the dielectric grease supplied with the kit and install it on the female portion of the plugs. more

Today on our 2007 Chevy Silverado we'll be installing the Bargman fifth wheel goose neck 90 degree wiring harness, part number 50-97-410. First we'll go ahead and select a location for mounting our new seven pole connector. Here in the truck bed on the drivers side just behind the wheel well is a great spot. Before we drill out the large hole we'll go ahead and use a smaller bit to create a pilot hole then check underneath to make sure we have plenty of room to feed our wiring inside once we drill it out. Now that we've done our checks we'll go ahead and drill it out using the larger bit recommended in the instructions. Now with the larger hole drilled out we'll go ahead and take the end of our wiring and feed it through the hole and down underneath our vehicle. more
